A kick off meeting to develop a study to assess the impact of the Indonesia-EU CEPA on the Indonesian trade, economy and social indicators was held on the 27 February 2020. The event was held at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Jakarta.

The study is being developed in collaboration with CSIS and is supported by the active participation of BAPPENAS and the Ministry of Trade. The event also included a workshop called The Quantitative Analysis of the Trade Agreement. 20 individuals from the civil service took part in the workshop which is the first of a series of activities leading to the development of a comprehensive study. Future follow up activities will include technical workshops, review of study drafts, consultations with a wide group of stakeholders, including the private sector and dissemination of findings through public events in Jakarta and other major centers in Indonesia.
