7-8 March 2024 - Technical Assistance II
The Ministry of Investment/BKPM, in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, is organising a two-day capacity-building session aiming to enhance the capacities of investment promoters in investment project feasibility, structuring, financing, and promotion. The training aims to increase investment realization, especially from the European Union. ARISE+ Indonesia team will deliver the training in interactive sessions and case studies.
15 February 2024 - Technical Assistance II
The Directorate General of International Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Trade, in partnership with ARISE+ Indonesia, is hosting a hybrid workshop. This event will present concept notes that discuss the current WTO work on MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), and MSME provisions in Regional Trade Agreements (RTAs) — covering their scope, types of provisions, and enforceability. Additionally, the workshop will explore strategies to promote the interests of Indonesian MSMEs in Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
15-16 February 2024 - Technical Assistance II
The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, is organising a session to introduce the indicators of the Indonesia Blue Economy Index (IBEI) to representatives from line ministries and regional governments. This event aims to equip these representatives with a thorough understanding of the IBEI indicators, enabling them to set policy targets and monitor the development of the Blue Economy in their respective areas or regions effectively.
Week III March 2024 (TBC) - Technical Assistance II
The Directorate General of International Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Trade, in partnership with ARISE+ Indonesia, is hosting a hybrid workshop. This event will present concept notes that discuss The WTO impasse on agriculture negotiations. The workshop will also explore the possible approaches to an innovative, proactive approach to push the negotiations to continue, as well as how to resolve the resistance of some developed countries to move forwards.
