30 November 2023 - Technical Assistance II
The Ministry of Trade (MoT), in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, will organise a workshop on Framework Conceptualisation to Address Foreign Non-Tariff Barriers. The workshop aims to strengthen the capacity of MoT officers in NTMs to support the ongoing Indonesia-EU CEPA negotiations. The conceptualised framework is needed to address the foreign NTBs that Indonesian companies face abroad, ensuring Indonesia's trade potential is realised.
28-29 November 2023 - Technical Assistance II
The Ministry of Trade (MoT), in partnership with ARISE+ Indonesia, will conduct a workshop on "Introduction to Trade in Services (TiS) Performance Monitoring System & Early Sensitisation of TiS Coordination Mechanism". The workshop aims to strengthen the capacity of MoT officers in TiS to support the ongoing Indonesia-EU CEPA negotiations. This technical assistance seeks to conceptualise a mechanism to track the performance of Indonesia's trade in the services sector through a one-day focus workshop. This activity will take into account the recent Trade in Services negotiations that Indonesia is conducting with the EU and potential negotiations for other FTAs in the future. Additionally, a separate half-day workshop will be organised to discuss the coordination mechanism for TiS, involving private sector associations that provide negotiation inputs.
27-28 November 2023 - Technical Assistance II
In partnership with ARISE+ Indonesia, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries is organising a two-day seminar on food risk assessment within the tuna value chains. This collaborative effort aims to support the Indonesian Food and Drugs Authority (BPOM) in elevating its regulatory practices by emphasising the management of food safety and health risks through scientifically grounded Risk Assessment (RA) procedures. The workshop's key objective is to deepen participants' understanding of issues relevant to tuna value chains and enhance their proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
22-23 November 2023 - Technical Assistance II
The National Food Agency (Bapanas), in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, is hosting a two-day workshop focused on food risk assessment within the spice value chains. This initiative is designed to assist the Indonesian Food and Drugs Authority (BPOM) in advancing modern good regulatory practices, which emphasise the management of food health and safety risks through factual and science-backed Risk Assessment (RA) procedures. The workshop's goal is to enhance the participants' understanding of issues pertinent to spice value chains and to bolster their proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
