21 September 2023 - Technical Assistance II

This technical meeting, convening officials from the Ministry of Investment/BKPM and the National Development Planning Ministry/Bappenas, will review and discuss the latest findings and progress on the Investment Attraction Plan, including demand-side analyses, outward FDI trends from Europe by sector, and the proposed approach to sectoral segment prioritisation for investment attraction.

The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM), in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, is organizing a workshop to discuss the occurrence of RASFF notifications and find solutions for improvement efforts.

The National Standardization Agency's Deputy for Measurement Standards (SNSU), in partnership with ARISE+ Indonesia, is organising a comprehensive metrology training series. The program aims to enhance the skills and competence of the agency's metrologists.

8-9 September 2023 - Technical Assistance II

ARISE+ Indonesia is organising a visit to the neighbouring Indonesian island of Batam with a delegation from the European Union's Directorate General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA). Batam hosts a number of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and is home to some of Indonesia's most developed industrial clusters. Many of these clusters are relevant to the Global Gateway initiative and have the potential to evolve into even more sophisticated ecosystems. The delegation will meet with Batam's Indonesia Free Zone Authority (BP Batam) and one or two key existing EU investors in sectors relevant to Global Gateway to learn from their experiences as leading investors in advanced technologies in Indonesia.
