16, 18, 23 October 2023 - Technical Assistance II

The Directorate of Goods and Services Market Surveillance (DGSMS), with the support of ARISE+ Indonesia, has developed INRAPEX, the Rapid Alert System for non-food consumer products. ARISE+ Indonesia further assists DGSMS by organizing a workshop aimed at raising awareness about the need for good reporting and increased cross-agency exchange of information. The workshop also aims to enhance the capacity of officials from industry and trade regional offices in operating INRAPEX and managing risks to prevent adverse events linked to product safety.

3-5 & 10-12 October 2023 - Technical Assistance II

The Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Industry, in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, are organising training sessions for spice exporters and functional officers in the Trade and Industry Regional Offices. These sessions focus on conducting internal audits for Geographical Indication (GI)-certified spice products. The training aims to enhance these officials' and spice exporters' knowledge and skills in performing internal audits. This effort is crucial to ensure that the quality of spice products meets stipulated provisions and requirements and guarantees food safety.

2-4 October 2023 - Technical Assistance II

The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, is organising a Training of Trainers (ToT) on the methodology and calculation of the Indonesia Blue Economy Index (IBEI). The aim of this training is to equip the core team of the Blue Economy Secretariat of Bappenas with the necessary framework, methods, and technicalities. This will enhance their understanding of determining indicators, calculating, and regularly updating the Indonesia Blue Economy Index. After the ToT, the core team will be expected to share their knowledge in the second and third workshops, which will target representatives from relevant directorates in Bappenas as well as representatives of line ministries and regional governments.

29 September 2023 - Technical Assistance II

The Directorate of Accreditation System and Harmonisation (SisHar) at the National Standardisation Agency of Indonesia, in partnership with ARISE+ Indonesia, is conducting a webinar on Reference Material Providers (RMP). This webinar aims to highlight the significance of RMPs and encourage existing laboratories in Indonesia to develop new, accredited RMPs. This initiative recognizes the pivotal role of RMPs in global trade and aims to enhance the quality standards of Indonesia's export infrastructure.
