The Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) will hold the 5th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of the ARISE+ Indonesia Trade Support Facility, funded by the European Union (EU). The PSC meeting will be co-chaired by the Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs, Bappenas and the Head of Cooperation, the EU delegation.

As part of ARISE+ Indonesia's continuous support to strengthen the capacity of MPIG (local GI associations), particularly regarding product packaging, ARISE+ Indonesia, under the aegis of the Directorate General of National Export Development of the Ministry of Trade and the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Right, will hold an Online Coaching Session to MPIGs on the topic of Application of GI Product Branding Guidelines: What It Is For and How to Use It.

Given the growing importance of trade in services in the future, both as part of the economy and trade/FTA negotiations, the Ministry of Trade, in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, is organizing the workshop to present an initial analysis of a background paper on "Developing a Framework for Supporting the Performance of Trade in Services in Indonesia: Identifying Priority Services Sectors for Negotiations." This workshop aims to obtain input and insights to determine indicators and priority services sectors in the future.
