5 December 2022 - Technical Assistance II

The Ministry of Investment/BKPM will host a progress meeting on the Indonesia-EU Investment Attraction Plan being developed with the support of ARISE+ Indonesia. The event will include a presentation and discussion on the provisional sectoral and thematic findings that have emerged from more than 30 stakeholder consultations conducted by ARISE+ Indonesia, as well as quantitative analyses that benchmark Indonesia’s investment-related offerings in the key sectors and thematic areas that are being assessed as part of Investment Attraction Plan, which will be completed in 2023.

Demand for ethically-sourced products continues growing across the globe. As the continuation of the spices export sensitisation seminar last August, the Ministry of Trade (MoT) and the Ministry of Industry (MoI), in collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, organise the capacity-building workshop on Fair Trade Certification, especially in spices products.

Trade in Services (TiS) negotiations require an in-depth understanding of both parties' regulatory environment, having already identified the key market access and national treatment barriers governing trade across both negotiating parties. In this context, ARISE+ Indonesia supported the Directorate of Trade in Services Negotiation, the Ministry of Trade, to undertake six services sectors analysis in preparation for the ongoing EU-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) negotiations. 

24 November 2022 - Technical Assistance I

The Ministry of National Development Planning/ Bappenas, in close collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia and Oxford Economics, developed an integrated economics-environmental analysis tool to assess the impact of the energy transition on macroeconomic indicators.
