3rd Week of May 2022 - Technical Asssistance II

National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BSN) and National Accreditation Committee (KAN), with technical support from ARISE+ Indonesia, will conduct training on ISO/IEC 17034: General Requirements for the Competence of Reference Material Producers (RMP). Reference materials (RMs) are used in all stages of the measurement process, including for method validation, calibration and quality control. They are also used in interlaboratory comparisons for method validation and for assessing laboratory proficiency.

13 May 2022 - Technical Assistance I

Indonesia's Geographical Indication Show (IGIS) will be launched under the aegis of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Directorate General of National Export Development (DGNED) of the Ministry of Trade, with the support of the EU-funded ARISE+ Indonesia, during a webinar on Friday, 13 May 2022. 

12, 17, 18, 24 May 2022 - Technical Assistance I

Trade Policy Analysis and Development Agency (TREDA) in the Ministry of Trade, with technical support from ARISE+ Indonesia, will hold a series of workshops to enhance institutional capacity to implement a socio-economic trade remedy policy framework in Indonesia.

27-28 April 2022 - Technical Assistance II

With technical support from ARISE+ Indonesia, the Fish Quarantine and Inspection Agency (BKIPM) under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MoMAF) will conduct training for laboratories carrying out tests for two microbial contaminants, Listeria ssp. and Vibrio parahaemolyticus. The training aims to enhance the capacities of laboratory analysts and managers to identify and quantify these microbes in a more reliable way. The training will allow the competent authority for fisheries (BKIPM) within the MoMAF to meet the European Commission (EC) import requirements. The training will be conducted by Stefani Juergens.
