26 April 2022 - Technical Assistance II

National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BSN) will host a kick-off meeting to commence a series of activities to improve the information management related to Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT). The series of activities conducted with technical support from ARISE+ Indonesia will include assessing the BSN website as the information platform for TBT, identifying the performance gap in the BSN website, and revamping the website with new features and functions. The newly updated website is expected to facilitate information flow to be more effective, thus improving coordination among stakeholders, enhancing inclusiveness, and decreasing the response time to WTO notifications.

In collaboration with ARISE+ Indonesia, the Directorate of Standardisation and Quality Control, the Ministry of Trade, and the Industrial Services Standardization and Policy Agency (BSKJI) in the Ministry of Industry are organising training on the 2017 version of ISO/IEC 17025.The training aims to enhance the competence of testing and calibration laboratories through a detailed presentation of standard ISO/IEC17025 requirements and how to ensure metrological traceability and uncertainty calculations. This allows laboratories to achieve more reliable results, thus gaining enhanced confidence in European trade partners. 

19 April 2022 - Technical Assistance I

The Directorate-General of International Trade Negotiation, the Ministry of Trade, will host a workshop to present and discuss the study findings and recommendations on Strengthening Regional Value Chains, Tuesday (19/04). The study conducted with technical support from ARISE+ Indonesia aimed to support the Government of Indonesia, as the upcoming 2023 ASEAN Chair, to table strategies in developing ASEAN into the centre of Global Value Chains (GVCs) and increase the participation of ASEAN Member States in Regional Value Chains (RVCs) with regard to the three priority sectors (automotive, electronics, and medical devices).

14 April 2022 - Technical Assistance I

The Directorate of Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) and Cooperative, Bappenas (the Ministry of National Development Planning), with support from ARISE+ Indonesia, will host the fourth edition of the SME Sensitisation Webinar series focussing on medicinal plants sector, especially ginger.
