This training course aims to share with participants the GVC analysis approach to help them gain insights into sectoral GVC composition using the MRIO tables and trade flow analysis. During the training, participants will get acquainted with the methodology, data collection, data modelling, and analysis through visual tools.

17 December 2021

The Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) will hold the 4th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting on 15 December 2021. The PSC meeting will review the implementation progress and approve its 4th Annual Work Plan for 2022. Prior to the meeting, several consultations with each Technical Advisory Board (TAB) Coordinator were conducted to discuss and determine the activities for each priority area for the year 2022.  

13 & 15 December 2021

The advanced workshop will address how to conduct a comprehensive and complex modelling assessment of the socio-economic impact of trade remedy actions. The interactive workshop will focus on the framework, process and data models for the impact assessment. At the end of the process, the participants drawn from policymakers and analysts who are members of the National Interest Consideration Team (Tim PKN) are expected to understand the process and the mechanics of the methodology.

8-10 December 2021

A series of three consultations with private sector stakeholders from the electronics, chemicals and textiles & apparel sectors will be held in order to understand and discuss the priorities, opportunities and challenges in sourcing greater levels of goods and services from Indonesian SMEs in each sector.
