Accreditation bodies must continuously adapt their services to market demand, and if new needs arise, accreditation schemes must be developed to meet these needs. In many countries, there has been a demand for GLOBAL G.A.P (Good Agricultural Practices) certification, which requires the involvement of the National Accreditation Body. Standardisation is an international discipline rooted in national standardisation organisations. A prerequisite for a demand for the developed standards is that all stakeholders are involved in the process and comply with the rules. In collaboration with the ARISE+ Indonesia, BSN (Badan Standarisasi Nasional/National Standardisation Agency) is organising a virtual workshop on Good Standardisation Practice. The purpose of the webinar/workshop is to provide the participants with a general introduction to the rules, principles and procedures in standardisation, enabling the participants to actively contribute to developing new standards.
