The workshops will illustrate the process to develop policy briefs, based on sound economic analysis and therefore the use of economic modelling. BAPPENAS officers will be mentored through the process (incl. conceptualisation, design, developing economic model scenarios, interpreting results).

BAPPENAS will have the second discussion with Oxford Economics on the Economic Performance of Indonesia and its recovery prospects after the pandemic. This event is a continuation of the previous discussion held on February 24, 2021. The discussion will help BAPPENAS to identify priorities and criticalities that must be addressed.

Explore European gastronomy and learn about the Geographical Indication (GI) products on the Cooking Ambassadors show produced by ARISE+ Indonesia under the aegis of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and the Directorate General of National Export Development in the Ministry of Trade.

An Indonesia-EU CEPA impact assessment has been developed with the support of ARISE Plus Indonesia to assess the impact of the CEPA on Indonesian trade, economy and social indicators. It is the result of a close collaboration with the Jakarta based Centre for Strategic and International Studies, that provided technical support, and seen the active involvement of BAPPENAS and the Ministry of Trade. Several ministries, government agencies and private sector organisations have been consulted through the process.
