ARISE+ Indonesia will present the review results of Standardization Procedure and Standard Portfolio to the National Standardization Body (BSN) and the ministries and the agencies responsible for adopting the standards of ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) as national standards.

4 December 2020

Sketches of National Geographical Indications (GI) logo will be presented to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on 4 December 2020.  ARISE+ Indonesia, together with Gambaran Brand and Universitas Pelita Harapan – brand consultant and influencer who assist in the creative side of the development of the national GI logo, will present a selection of logo sketches to DGIP.  Following the presentation meeting, DGIP will internally decide the final logo.

The Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in collaboration with ARISE + Indonesia, will organize a webinar to increase the knowledge of Indonesian government authorities, officials and local stakeholders about the rules, procedures and best practices for improving legal protection of GI products in the domestic market.

30 November - 4 December 2020

This is the third of three training workshops that aims at Indonesia’s narrow and wider stakeholders engaged in FTA negotiations. The first one-week programme, held on 4-8 November 2019, has focused on how to prepare for trade negotiations. The second one-week programme, held on 10 – 14 February 2020, focused on how to conduct trade negotiations. This one will be a Train the Trainer programme to provide sustainability of negotiation capacity in Indonesia. All training will include interactive exercises and case studies relevant to negotiations with the EU.
